Information and communication tools and the impact these resources are having on education are rapidly creating new challenges for instructor and learners faced with learning online.

Teaching and learning in an virtual environment happens differently than in the traditional classroom and can present new challenges to instructors and learners participating in this online learning environment.  There is a need in e-learning to identify the challenges and consider best practice solutions to ensure instructor and learner success in a virtual learning environment.

Join us on April 18th for a Lagniappe session at the Morning Call located in City Park.  We will be discussing best practices and stories on teaching in a virtual environment.

Your ATD NOLA Chapter is excited to bring you these Lagniappe Sessions - informal gatherings for professionals with a passion for the field of Learning, Education and Training. Participants will exchange ideas on the research and practices that shape the workforce development field. There is no fee for members to attend and only $10 for non members . Participants may choose to purchase food and drink directly from the location vendor.  Please note Morning Call is Cash only, there is an ATM located on the premises.
